PIA board reconstituted, Mukhtar appointed new chairman

KARACHI ( 2008-11-18 14:04:05 ) :The federal government has reconstituted the board of director of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation (PIAC), making Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar as its new chairman.

According to information reaching Karachi Stock Exchange here on Tuesday, other nominated directors included Syed Naseer Ahmed, Javed Akhtar, Lt Gen Syed Athar Ali retd (Secretary Defence), Captain Mohammad Aijaz Haroon (MD PIA), Prof Mian Ijaz ul Hassan, Dr Waqar Masood Khan Secretary Finance, Husain Lawai, Shaukat Ali Raza,

Elected director included Malik Nazir Ahmed and Mubashir Iftikhar.
