Shahbaz gets assurance from CDB for financing in power BEIJING ( 2008-11-18 18:18:32 ) :The China Development Bank (CDB) has assured Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for collaboration in providing financial assistance in energy and other projects. The assurance was given to him when the Chief Minister Punjab held a meeting with President of CDB Chenyuan here on Tuesday, an official accompanied with Chief Minister told APP. He said that during interaction Mr Chenyuan expressed deep interest in supporting various projects for collaboration. He further said that the President of CDB also expressed interest in collaboration for the development of Agriculture sector, besides in banking and services areas. Later, Punjab Chief Minister attended a luncheon hosted for him and in honour of his delegation by Minister International Department of Communist Party of China Wang Jiarui. *Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2008*
